Veterinary Inpatient Care & ICU

Key Aspects of Our Veterinary Inpatient Care

• Intensive Monitoring & Treatment : Pets receive continuous observation by trained personnel, particularly after surgery or during critical illness.
• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) : Our ICU is equipped for critically ill pets needing IV pumps, blood transfusions or oxygen cages.
•  Therapeutic Services : Our Inpatients have immediate access to on-site blood tests, internal scans and emergency surgical capabilities.
• Staff Role : Our attending veterinarians (AV) leads the care often utilizing a team to provide 24-hour monitoring and care of your pets.
• Prevention and Home Care : We use brushing with pet-safe toothpaste supplemented by dental diets, chews and water additives.

Our Veterinary inpatient care involves 24/7 hospitalization for sick, injured or post-surgical animals requiring intensive monitoring, specialized treatment and diagnostic services. It includes IV fluid administration, pain management, oxygen therapy and in ICUs specialized nursing for unstable pets.

Our vets who are responsible for inpatient care ensures intensive monitoring and care of the animals. Pets are also in the tender care of trained veterinary staff who are responsible for feeding the animals and daily cleaning and disinfection of the cages. They also bring the dogs out several times a day if their health permits.

We will do our best to look after your pet in hospital

We understand that veterinary environments can be stressful for your pets. To minimise this, we have separate wards for different kinds of pets. Our wards are quiet and contain appropriate enclosures. We provide hide boxes, toys, perches, humidity chambers and fresh food, and our wards are climate-controlled where appropriate.
We have veterinary nurses and veterinary surgeons on site 24 hours a day. Your pet will receive the level of care and attention necessary for his or her condition, up to and including round the clock care in our intensive care unit.

We aim to return your pet to the care of your referring vet as soon as possible but some conditions may require ongoing specialist attention and treatment at the practice.
