Veterinary Dental Care Treatment

Pet's Dental Treatment

• Oral Health Assessment : Procedures begin with full oral exams and dental radiography ensuring pain-free, accurate diagnostics.
• Professional Cleaning : We use ultrasonic scalers to remove plaque followed by polishing to smooth the enamel.
• Surgical Procedures : Our surgeries include treating oral masses or jaw fractures of your pet(s).
• Anesthesia : Without causing fear or pain your pet(s) must be under general anesthesia.
• Prevention and Home Care : We use brushing with pet-safe toothpaste supplemented by dental diets, chews and water additives.

Dental health is a very important part of your pet’s overall health and dental problems can cause other health problems. Your pet’s teeth and gums should be checked at least once a year by our veterinarian for early signs of problems and to keep your pet’s mouth healthy.

Regular dental care prevents systemic oral bacterial infections of your pets that can affect the heart, kidneys, and liver.

Have your pet’s teeth checked sooner if you observe any of the following problems :

• Bad breath
• Broken or loose teeth
• Extra teeth or retained baby teeth
• Teeth that are discolored
• Abnormal chewing or dropping food
• Reduced appetite or refusal to eat
• Pain in or around the mouth

Our veterinary dentistry includes the cleaning, adjustment, filing, extraction or repair of your pets' teeth and all other aspects of oral health care. These procedures are performed by our veterinarian dentist.
